Digital Explorer’s online Academy for Exploration has been created to help expeditions bring the frontiers of science and discovery to the classroom.

The Academy is designed to make it easier for expeditions to connect with schools. Expeditions have the ability to inspire the next generation to understand and take action to build a better world. Through the Academy, we can support you to:

• provide reach for your educational content
• facilitate live chats with schools from the field
• provide educational impact tracking for your sponsors
• provide background resources that give your projects context in the classroom

A simple thing to do would be to register your expedition on the [digital explorer] Live Projects Map for instance, which schools around the UK and the world have access to. We are also able to design expedition websites or education resources to accompany your expedition. The resources and educational programmes that we create link to National Curriculum topics or work schemes, ensuring they can be used within UK classrooms in a straightforward manner, and are an asset to the topic taught – ‘living learning’ wherever possible!
