Digital Explorer developed this project for 2041′s E-Base Goes Live expedition, which saw a small team establish the first base in Antarctica powered solely by renewable energy.

Pupils are asked to investigate various issues surrounding renewable energy and sustainable building, before making their own E-Base out of recycled materials. The project is suitable for design & technology as well as geography and citizenship in the study of Education for Sustainable Development.
