Digital Explorer continually strives to find new ways to use technology to engage young people in global issues

The team behind Digital Explorer first made a website for a youth expedition in 2002, calling in the updates via satellite phone from the mountains. From these beginnings we have developed in-depth expertise in using technology to bring expeditions to the classroom, both live from the field and as part of educational resources.

Google Earth

Google Earth is an amazing tool that brings the world closer to new audiences. Learn how to use it on your own expeditions and in the classroom.

[de] blogs

[de] blogs is a specialised web service for your expedition. Expedition websites can be a minefield, so we’ve put all our experience into creating a templated system.

Classroom Media Player

The Classroom Media Player is a multimedia lesson planning tool, designed to contain all the photos, videos and quotes from an expedition or project. It is suitable for schools internationally and can be used for any type of digital media content.
